Presque Isle man wanted in home invasion found

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — A man sought by the Police Department in connection with a home invasion that took place in the city on Sunday has been found.

Officials with the Presque Isle Police Department said that Jeffrey Sock, 35, made contact with the department through his attorney on Tuesday and was charged with burglary, assault and criminal mischief.

A woman called 911 just before 11 p.m. Sunday to report that a man, identified by police as Sock, had kicked in her front door and assaulted her boyfriend.

Sock reportedly fled the scene before the police arrived and was unable to be located. printed on July 25, 2017
