BANGOR, Maine — A LaGrange man pleaded not guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to distribution of oxycodone.
Tony A. Woodard, 43, was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury.
After entering his plea, Woodard agreed to be held without bail pending the resolution of his case.
Woodard is facing unrelated charges in state court. He was indicted in September by the Penobsoct County grand jury for burglary, theft by unauthorized taking, aggravated criminal mischief, criminal mischief and violation of condition of release.
He has pleaded not guilty to those charges, which stemmed from an August burglary in Mattamiscontis Township.
The federal charges stemmed from an incident on July 22, 2010, according to the indictment.
No other information about what led to the federal charges was available Tuesday.
If convicted, Woodard faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $1 million on the drug charge.
