BANGOR, Maine — About sixty farms and producers turned out over the weekend for the first Harvest Festival at the Bangor Auditorium. The event was planned based on the success of farmers markets, and featured locally sourced meat, vegetables, fruit, jellies, wine and beer.

Judy Perkins, the organizer of the event, said she would like to make it an annual festival.
