West, East Senior All-Stars split high school soccer games

HAMPDEN — The East and West All-Stars split the two high school soccer games of the Senior Bowl on Saturday, with the West winning the boys game 7-3 and the East winning the girls game 5-3.

In the boys game, Nick Shaw of Mount Desert Island netted two goals to lead the West Seniors to the win. Blake Hart of Mt. Blue in Farmington, Steven Osgood of Vinalhaven, Robbie Lentine of Windham, Kevin Lubelczyk of Gorham and Tim Lavallee of Cape Elizabeth each scored a goal. Brandon Tuttle of Falmouth picked up two assists. Tyler Harrington of Richmond and Ben Olivari of George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill were goalkeepers for the West.

Jeremy Beers of Calais, Bengi Abdisalan Saban of Lewiston and Andrew Flanagan of Camden Hills each scored a goal for the East squad. Goalkeepers were Ryan Lincoln of Woodland and Ian Cushing of Camden Hills.

In the girls match, Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little notched two goals to spark the East Seniors. Chelsea Kuzio of Hampden Academy, Cassandra Murano of Brunswick and Jillian Diaferio of Southern Aroostook in Dyer Brook each added a goal for the East. Ashley Robinson of Bangor grabbed an assist. Goalkeepers were Missy Thompson of Brewer, Breanna Martin of Oxford Hills, Morgan Swan of Caribou, Samantha Brownell of Central in Corinth and Felicia Thornton of Lee Academy.

Audrey Adkinson of Gorham, Brooke Lawrence of Lisbon and Danica Hurley of Richmond each tallied a goal for the West Seniors. Aley Leonardi of Kennebunk and Haley Carignan each had an assist. Alex Slivinsky of Vinalhaven and Lindsy Hoopingarner of Richmond were goalkeepers for the West.
