Bangor police seeking stolen ’66 truck

By Dawn Gagnon, BDN Staff

BANGOR, Maine — Police are on the lookout for a pickup truck that was reported stolen Thursday afternoon from a commercial parking lot on Odlin Road.

The owner dropped off the truck — a black 1966 GMC 4×4 pickup with a white top — for repairs about 6 p.m. Wednesday and when he returned about noon Thursday, it was nowhere to be seen, Bangor police Sgt. Larry Weber said Thursday evening.

The report also said the truck was accessorized with bed rails and bumpers and had a plow attachment in front and the plow itself in its bed, Weber said.

It was not immediately clear if the keys were in the ignition when the truck went missing.

Anyone who has seen the truck or has information about where it could be should call the Bangor Police Department at 947-7384.
