Woman suffers minor injuries in two-vehicle Dedham crash

DEDHAM, Maine — Maine State Police are reporting that a two-vehicle crash occurred on Route 1 in Dedham at around 6:10 p.m. Friday. The crash took place at the intersection of Route 1 and Pine Trail. Adrienne Hood, 48, of Dedham was attempting to turn her 2009 Ford Focus from Route 1 onto Pine Trail. Dalton Braley, 19, of Detroit was operating a 2003 Dodge pickup truck. Braley’s vehicle ran into the rear of Hood’s stopped vehicle. Hood was transported by ambulance to Eastern Maine Medical Center, where she was treated for minor injuries. Braley was not injured. Hood’s vehicle was a total loss and Braley’s vehicle had extensive front-end damage. Both operators appeared to be wearing seat belts. State police officials do not anticipate any criminal charges related to the crash.
