Veazie police looking for stolen BMW convertible

VEAZIE, Maine — Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a car that was stolen on State Street last month.

The 1994 BMW 3 Series blue convertible was taken sometime between Oct. 22 and 25, according to Veazie Police Chief Mark Leonard. He said the keys were not left in the vehicle.

The license plate number is 6553SP, and the vehicle is registered to Gerald Thompson of Bangor, Leonard said.

Anyone with information relating to the car theft or whereabouts of the vehicle is asked to call Leonard at 947-2358.
