ORONO, Maine — Two University of Maine students were arrested and several others got tickets during a surprise Halloween roadblock campus police set up on Rangeley Road.

Frank Scura, 19, was arrested for violating the conditions of his release from a recent arrest for operating under the influence, according to UMaine spokesman Joe Carr. Scura’s conditions required that he not use or possess intoxicants and he reportedly had a usable amount of marijuana in his possession.

The other student was Aaron Collinsworth, 18, who was arrested on an OUI charge.

Both students reside on campus, Carr said. They were taken to Penobscot County Jail and since have been released on bail, a jail official confirmed.
