BREWER, Maine — Maine State Police asked for assistance after a hit-and-run accident Monday afternoon and Brewer police Officer Edwardo Benjamin found the reported driver hiding at his brother’s Brewer home, Lt. Chris Martin said Tuesday.
“They found Terrance Pinkham hiding in the residence” of his brother, the lieutenant said. “Terrance was wanted for a warrant.”
Pinkham was arrested for the outstanding warrant and taken to Penobscot County Jail. His brother Casey Pinkham was found with six diverted generic Ambien pills and was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
Details about the hit-and-run accident, including if anyone was hurt or if property was damaged, was not available.
Terrance Pinkham remained in jail Tuesday afternoon, a jail official said.
