BREWER, Maine — A Bangor man caught driving a car with an expired inspection sticker on Saturday morning was charged with a felony because it’s his third operating after revocation charge, Brewer police Officer Liz Kelley said Sunday.
Jason Kimball, 24, was driving with his wife, who also has a suspended license, and their young son when pulled over at around 10:10 a.m. on Wilson Street near Leadbetters.
“The inspection sticker expired in July,” Kelley said. Kimball was charged with felony operating after habitual offender revocation and was taken to Penobscot County Jail in Bangor. He was released later in the day Saturday, a jail official said.
“If your license is suspended, don’t drive down the road in a car with an expired inspection sticker,” Kelley said. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
