CALAIS, Maine — The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Ferry Point port of entry in Calais will be temporarily closed to U.S.-bound traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, to midnight Friday, Oct. 21, due to a new paving project. All passenger cars are instructed to use alternate ports of entry during these five days.
The Milltown port of entry is approximately one mile upstream and is available to all passenger vehicles and pedestrians. The International Avenue port of entry is approximately two miles upstream and is available to all passenger vehicles and commercial trucks.
The Ferry Point port of entry is expected to resume normal operations on Oct. 22 once the paving project is completed.
