ROCKLAND — Three new faces for the 2010-11 school year greeted students at Mid-Coast School of Technology. Kristy Hastings is the new math teacher. Danica Wooster will teach students auto collision technology. Suzanne Hall will be the new curriculum, assessment and instruction coordinator. Hall previously served as school to career coordinator at Medomak Valley High School.

Hastings said that her challenge is to prepare students for the demands of the career and technology education programs. Her previous position was as an algebra teacher at Georges Valley High School.

Danica Wooster graduated from Mid-Coast School of Technology Auto Collision program and Wyoming Tech. She worked for Portland Collision before taking her new position.

Hall said she is looking forward to coordinating the integration of the new English language arts and math core curriculum with technical education programs.
