NORTHPORT — Organizers Randy Fein and Susan Pierce, are sharing the success of Artfull Gifts, a fine art and craft event, with local organizations United Mid-Coast Charities and Coastal Mountains Land Trust. Volunteers from both organizations help make the show a success, and part of the show’s entry fee generates funds donated each year to both nonprofits.

The Invitational event will feature the work of 50 New England-based artists and artisans.

The show will open with The Gala Collectors Evening, 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Point Lookout Resort in Northport. Live Jazz will be provided by Chris Poulin’s Shades of Blue. Attendees will enjoy a cash bar with foods from fine area restaurants and handmade appetizers from local artisan food businesses, while meeting the artists. Admission is $10, valid for the weekend of shopping.

The show will continue 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19-20. Admission is $3 to benefit Coastal Mountains Land Trust and United Mid-Coast Charities.

“ArtFull Gifts chose to support Coastal Mountains Land Trust and United Mid-Coast Charities because their work supports a variety of key needs in the midcoast area”, said artist and show director Randy Fein. “CMLT helps protect our precious open space here in midcoast Maine. Without conservation, artists and the folks of our community would no longer have the inspiration of endless views, with pristine natural places to explore. In addition, I’m so pleased that UMCC was part of this community event. They do so much to make the holiday season much brighter for many people in the midcoast area.”
