PARIS, Maine — A man was charged Friday with sexually assaulting a boy nearly 20 years ago.

Kendrick J. Dorsch, 56, of Gothic Street, was charged with gross sexual assault.

According to a report by Officer Zane Loper of the Paris Police Department, a man told police that Dorsch sexually molested him in the early 1990s, when the man was between 12 and 14 years old.

Loper wrote that a woman Dorsch knew wore a listening device and got Dorsch to admit to molesting the boy years ago. Loper charged him with gross sexual assault based on that evidence.

Dorsch was bailed out of the Oxford County Jail on Monday afternoon. His bail conditions ordered him not to have contact with the alleged victim or anyone under 18 years old.
