KITTERY, Maine — Former bus driver John Allen Wright has been charged with sexually assaulting a disabled boy from Kittery on his bus on two videotaped occasions, the Union Leader is reporting.

According to the report, the videos of the abuse were found among approximately 10,000 pornographic images and movies seized from Wright’s hard drive found at his home on Charles Street in Milton, N.H.

According to Kittery Detective Steve Hamel, as reported by the Union Leader, Wright can be seen on the video having sexual contact with the boy on both July 13 and 15 before dropping the victim off at school. The boy is believed to be about 6 years old.

Hamel said it is believed the boy was alone on the bus during one instance, but with other students on the bus in the other instance. However, officials are waiting for the video to be enhanced before solidifying their claims, the Union Leader reported. The boy, who is physically and mentally disabled, has been unable to speak with police about the incident.

The 6-year-old was identified by school officials after being asked by police to view the video. Wright was identified by his tattoos.

No other victims have been identified.

According to the Union Leader, Wright was an employee of Provider Enterprises at the time of the abuse, where he transported special education students into the Kittery school district for a summer program being held there.

Phone calls to Kittery Detective Steve Hamel and Capt. Corey Macdonald, the commander of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children, were not returned Tuesday.

The Union Leader contributed to this report.
