MONTICELLO – James Bud Burlock, 75, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at his residence. He was born Dec. 13, 1935, son of Harvey and Evelyn (Hotham) Burlock.
Bud loved to work on his cattle farm. He also enjoyed building things and was a great welder. Bud loved to hunt and he leaves behind his great friend and companion, Major, his dog.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Geraldine (Cullins) Burlock. Bud is also survived by special friends, Paul and Laura Brady, and sons of Monticello; three sisters, Florence Cook of Bridgewater, Joan Clark and her husband, Jimmy, of Brewer and Bonnie Folsom and her husband, Wesley, of Presque Isle; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Jewell Cemetery, Monticello, with Pastor Steve Izzo officiating.
