Small business workshops

WALDO — University of Maine Cooperative Extension announced that a three-part small business workshop series featuring information on record keeping and pricing will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct, 25, Nov. 1 and 8, at the UMaine Extension, 992 Waterville Road. Registration is $5 for each workshop or $10 for all three, The fee includes printed workshop materials. Informational SEED meeting

BELFAST — A free, informational SEED meeting will be held 8:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Hutchinson Center, to learn about help and advice available in the areas of recruitment, employee training, and business taxation. The SEED series of forums is a program of The Maine Coast Economic Alliance offered in partnership with the office of Sen. Olympia Snowe, the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Penobscot Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. and is sponsored by Our Town Belfast, the University of Maine, and the City of Belfast. Business group to meet

WALDOBORO — The Waldoboro Business Association’s next monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28.

The agenda will include continued planning and update on the October 2011 Business Showcase,brochure and membership committee updates as well as the continuing Downtown Revitalization Plan will be discussed. Email info@waldoborobusiness.org for more information.
