BANGOR, Maine — The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will disrupt traffic on several Bangor streets Sunday, according to police.
The 5K race will begin at 10 a.m., with the 1K race starting approximately 15 minutes later. The 5K will start at Front Street and continue to May Street, Cedar Street, Main Street, Lincoln Street, Webster Avenue, Buck Street and then back to Main Street. It will finish on Railroad Street.
Beginning at 9:15 a.m. all intersecting side streets that enter Main Street will be barricaded. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. Main Street from Cedar Street to Buck Street will be closed. Front Street, May Street, Buck Street and portions of West Broadway and Webster Avenue will also be temporarily closed.
