Forum on bath salts tonight at Husson

BANGOR, Maine — A public forum on the synthetic drug bath salts will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gracie Theatre on the Husson University campus.

The panel of presenters will include Bangor Police Chief Ron Gastia; Dr. Anthony T. Ng, medical director of psychiatric emergency services at The Acadia Hospital in Bangor; and Dr. Jonnathan Busko, a representative of Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Emergency Department. Officials from Bangor’s Public Health and Wellness Department will also attend.

After the presentations, Mike and Mike from Kiss 94.5 FM will moderate a question-and-answer period.

The event is free and open to the public.
