FRANKLIN T. BEAULIEU

SACO and HOULTON – Franklin T. Beaulieu, 74, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, in Saco. He was born March 7, 1937, in Fort Kent, the son of Edmund and Monique Beaulieu.

After graduating from Houlton High School, Frank served with the U.S. Army between 1956 and 1958. Frank was self-employed much of his working career. Two of his favorite pastimes were water-skiing at his family’s camp on East Grand Lake, Orient, and playing golf at Houlton Community Golf Course.

Frank is survived by his children, Thomas Beaulieu of Augusta, Maria Beaulieu of New York City, Robert Beaulieu of Sabattus and Laura Haines of Spearfish, S.D. He was the grandfather of Dorian, Abigail and Calvin. Also surviving are four sisters, Rita McDade of Houlton, Doris Kilfoil and her husband, Clifford, of Brunswick, Anne Rhoades and her husband, John, of Brunswick and Teresa Eagers and her husband, Charles, of Farmington; and three brothers, Edmund T. Beaulieu and his wife, Trudy, of Brewer, Carl A. Beaulieu of Andover, Mass., and Francis R. Beaulieu and his wife, Mary, of West Rutland, Vt. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Edmund and Monique.
