ATKINSON – Betty Lou Davis, 80, passed away peacefully Sept. 7, 2011, with her family by her side at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born July 17, 1931, in Barnard, daughter of Leonard and Annie (Higgins) Badger.

She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Clifford; 10 siblings, Phillip, Ernest, Charles, James, Robert, John, Ida, Edith, Frances and Carolyn; and a great-grandson, Adam Brown. Betty Lou is survived by her sons, Clifford Davis and his wife, Sandy, of Atkinson, and Charles Davis and his wife, Sue, of Madison; five grandchildren, Betty-Jo Cuthbertson and her husband, Harley, Clifford Davis III and his wife, Linsey, Violet Hyatt and her husband, Erik, Tim Badger and his wife, Tammy, and Charles Davis Jr.; 16 great-grandchildren, Erin, Justin, Bethany, Kaitlyn, Devon, Jazmynn, Katreena, MacKenzie, Dylan, Sara, Patrick, Jacob, Vicki, Scott, Israel and J.D.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at
