DOVER, N.H. — Several New Hampshire residents have been charged in Maine with trafficking heroin.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said Kurt Westfall, 49, and Alison Page, 29, both from Wakefield N.H., and Robert MacDonald, 28 of Rochester, N.H., were arrested Wednesday afternoon on allegations of selling heroin.

Police say the three made daily trips to Lawrence, Mass., to purchase the drug. The trio reportedly was stopped and arrested on Route 9 by MDEA agents and Berwick, Maine, police.

Separately, Foster’s Daily Democrat reported Dimitri Edmond of Somersworth, N.H., was arrested on a warrant related to trafficking heroin in Maine.

Edmond, 29, allegedly sold heroin to an undercover officer in May 2011. He also was connected to a July 17 shooting in Dover that left a 29-year-old victim injured.
