ACTON, Maine — A local man is staring down drug charges after state police say his two teenage baby sitters became sick smoking his marijuana.

The baby sitters, ages 17 and 18, were treated at a Sanford hospital after smoking marijuana reportedly belonging to Sean Johnson, 23. They had been watching the man’s 1-year-old and 3-year-old children.

Trooper Kyle Wells said in a press release that the girls placed the children in front of the man’s television set and then went outside to smoke. They later were taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Johnson was arrested and charged with furnishing marijuana. Police reportedly seized the drugs, two rifles, marijuana growing equipment and several knives and swords from Johnson’s home.
