The show goes on after American Folk Festival’s Sunday cancellation

Members of the a cappella group The Brotherhood Singers perform on stage at the Gracie Theater on the Husson University campus to a full house Monday. The group was slated to sing on Sunday morning at the American Folk Festival. The arrival of hurricane Irene canceled that show but arrangements were made to get the group in front of a Maine audience one more time.


BANGOR, Maine — American Folk Festival acts who were stranded in Bangor after Hurricane Irene disrupted travel plans agreed to play a benefit concert Monday evening at Husson University.
