BANGOR – Clement F. Weeks, 96, formerly of Lebanon Springs, N.Y., went home to his Lord Aug. 20, 2011. He was born Nov. 24, 1914, in Palmyra, the son of Hollis and Lura Weeks.

Mr. Weeks graduated from Maine Central Institute and was employed by General Electric, Pittsfield, Mass., for 35 years. He was a volunteer firefighter with Lebanon Valley Protective Association and served for many years as deacon and trustee of Lebanon Springs Baptist Church. After retirement he served in missionary outreach at Independent Baptist Academy, Bernalillo, N.M. At age 85, Mr. Weeks returned to Palmyra and was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Exeter. He most recently resided in Pensacola, Fla.

Mr. Weeks was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Hold) Weeks; and son, Gareth. E. Weeks. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Judith M. Alexander of Las Vegas and Mrs. Jacquelyn L. Mitchell of Easton, Pa.; and two sons, the Rev. Glen B. Weeks of Pensacola, Fla., and Mr. Gregory A. Weeks of Las Vegas. He was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Cemetery of the Evergreens, New Lebanon, N.Y.
