CARIBOU and TOGUS – Clarence Bouchard, 83, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011. He was born Jan. 21, 1928, in Stockholm, son of Jean Batiste and Delia Desrosier Bouchard.

He was a member of American Legion Post 15, Caribou, and American Veterans Post 7, Alexandria, La. He was also a lifetime and charter member of Lister Knowlton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9389, Caribou. He was the youngest member at just 19. The Maine Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages employed him for 35 years, working 10 years in Caribou and 25 years in Camden.

He is survived by his three sons, Robert Bouchard and his wife, Priscilla, of Appleton, Gordon Bouchard and his partner, Kathy, also of Appleton, and Conrad Bouchard and his wife, Debbie, of Alexandria, La. He has four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Davenport Bouchard, in 2007.

Private services will be held at Appleton Pine Grove Cemetery and Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clarence’s memory may be made to American Cancer Association. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at
