WARREN, Maine — Four people were injured in a drug-related robbery Wednesday when a man and two women broke into a Warren home, according to Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

All in all, five people were assaulted in the home around 9:30 p.m. on Bowden Road and all were brought to nearby hospitals, although only four were injured.

“Suspects entered the residence by force, demanding money, assaulting five people in the home with blunt instruments and a firearm. All victims sustained injuries to the face and head area except one [person],” Sheriff Donna Dennison wrote in a press release Thursday.

Dennison would not release the names of the suspects or victims.

Several thousand dollars and several expensive items were reported stolen, Dennison said.

Anyone with information can call lead detective Reginald Walker at 975-1704.
