Courts to close mornings for administrative week

Maine court clerks’ offices will not open to the public until noon next week during the court system’s summer administrative week.

Offices will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to allow court personnel to catch up on paperwork.

Administrative weeks are held three times a year. The last was the week of May 30. The next will begin Oct. 17.

Courts throughout the state will be closed Monday, Sept. 5, in observance of Labor Day.

Regular hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m. will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
