Man robs Augusta bank

AUGUSTA, Maine — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Bangor Savings Bank in Augusta on Tuesday morning.

Police say the man came into the bank, which is across from the Blaine House, around 10:15 a.m. and demanded cash but did not show a weapon. He left with an undisclosed amount.

The man is described as white, balding, 5 feet 6 inches or 5 feet 7 inches, and wearing a gray T-shirt and sunglasses.
