Family concerned over woman gone 2 months

The Associated Press

LEWISTON, Maine — The family of a 22-year-old Maine woman who has been missing almost two months said it’s unlike her to disappear for a such a long time.

Christiana Melusine Fesmire was last seen at a friend’s house in Lewiston on July 1.

Lewiston police Lt. Mark Cornelio said Fesmire’s disappearance is being investigated as a missing person case. He said the circumstances of her disappearance have not been ruled suspicious.

But Fesmire’s mother, Deborah Fesmire of Bremen, said it is unusual for her daughter to have been gone nearly two months without a phone call, email, letter or other communication.

The Morning Sentinel of Waterville said Fesmire has family members in Rangeley and two brothers who live in Pennsylvania.
