BROWNVILLE – Michael James Cail, 60, died unexpectedly Aug. 20, 2011, at home, while doing his favorite job, babysitting his "little men," Cayden and Corbin. Michael was born Oct. 2, 1950, in Milo, the son of Donald and Alice (McCleary) Cail.
A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member and past master of Pleasant River Lodge No. 163 AF & AM. Michael was an engineer for the Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railway. He enjoyed teaching his "little men" life lessons.
Michael is survived by his wife, Rena (Bubar) Cail; two sons, Jamie Cail and Darrin Cail; a daughter, Crystal Cail; grandchildren, Cayden and Corbin Cyr, Jada and Kenneth Cail, and Chelsea Clark; a sister, Brenda McMannus; special cousins, Ginger Cail and Betty Friend; the Poker Palace Gang; his railroad buddies; several nieces and nephews.
A gathering will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Crystal’s home, 378 Church St., Brownville, until the time of graveside services 2 p.m. at Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville Junction, with the Rev. Michele St. Cyr officiating. After the graveside services Mike’s kind of party will be held back at Crystal’s home.
