Two Camden National Bank customers chose to award the Humane Society of Knox County with $100 donations as part of their winnings in a raffle held at each of Camden National’s midcoast branches in June. The raffle, part of a Community Banking Day celebration to honor and thank the Maine-based bank’s customers and communities, allowed one winner from each branch to select a Maine-based business to which he or she would receive a $100 gift card, as well as a Maine-based charity to which the bank would give a matching $100 donation. Union winner Jaqueline Denman and Vinalhaven winner Becky Smith both selected the local humane society.
