BANGOR, Maine — A 22-year-old Burnham man was warned several times to quiet down by staff at the Ramada Inn early Thursday and then was asked to leave, but he refused, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said.

Tyler Morgan was arrested at around 1:30 a.m. for criminal trespass after he and two others in the hotel room were warned first by the hotel staff and later by police to lower the noise level, the sergeant said.

After being asked to leave, Morgan refused and was arrested, Edwards said. The others in the room were not charged.

Instead of spending the night in a hotel room, Morgan spent it at the Penobscot County Jail. He was later released, a jail official said. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
