Bangor police announce KahBang street closures

BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Police Department has announced plans to temporarily close several streets near Bangor Waterfront Friday and Saturday to accommodate the KahBang Music Festival, which runs from noon to 11 p.m. each day.

Set to close to motor vehicle traffic at 11 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday are Railroad and Front streets as well as sections of Summer and Cedar streets nearest to the concert venue. Motorist should plan to find alternative routes while the street closures are in effect.
