EAST HODGDON – Glenn Duff, 86, went home to be with his Lord, Aug. 9, 2011, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born May 23, 1925, in East Hodgdon, the son of Maurice and Ruth (Barton) Duff.
He served for many years as chairman of the board of trustees of New Brunswick Bible Institute.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Flora (Smith) Duff of East Hodgdon; four children, Mary and Ron Murray of East Hodgdon, Gerry and George Stouffer of Greenville, S.C., Melvin and Sheryl Duff of East Hodgdon and April Duff of Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Harold and Evelyn Duff of Thomaston, Guy and Sandra Duff of Gorham, Norma and Richard Benoit of Henderson Harbor, N.Y., Margaret and Robert Smith of East Hodgdon, George and Mary Duff of Lancaster, Pa., Leon and Barbara Duff of Vassalboro and Oland and Alice Duff of Waldoboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sons, Medley Eldon and Bryant Glenn; brother, Raymond; and a sister, Louise Weston.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Paul Juris officiating.
