Manna collecting donated school supplies
BANGOR, Maine — Manna, Inc., will begin collecting donated school supplies to distribute to children throughout central Maine for the coming school year. BDN editor to speak at Greenville Historical Society
GREENVILLE, Maine — Moosehead Roots and Historical Society will welcome Bangor Daily News editor Roxanne Moore Saucier for a presentation at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Center for Moosehead History, in the village. UMaine Extension hosts home energy-saving webinars Aug. 30

The three webinars are Home Energy Use at 9 a.m.; Easy ways to Reduce Energy Use at 10:30 a.m. and Comparing Fuels and Alternative Energy Systems at 1:30 p.m. Participants may choose to attend the live segments or view at a later time.
