More than 1,500 CMP customers without power Sunday

CORINNA, Maine — More than 1,500 residents in Penobscot and Somerset counties were without power most of Sunday. Central Maine Power said the Corinna substation had some equipment failure issues. The problems began around 10 a.m. and were fixed by 3 p.m.

People in Corinna, Exeter, Newport, St. Albans and Stetson were affected.
