Beales win Wacky Wednesday races at Speedway 95

HERMON — Travis Beale and Danielle Beale, a couple from Hampden, each won their respective feature events during Wacky Wednesday racing at Speedway 95.

It was the second time this year they’ve both been in victory lane on the same night.

Danielle Beale held the pole position for the Ladies 20-lap feature race and held off a strong challenge from Becky Elston of Carmel over the last five laps to earn the victory. Elston finished second, followed by Winterport’s Chelsea Young in third, Kayla Allen of Bucksport and Amy Hood of Howland.

Travis Beale picked up his third win of the season in the Little Enduros, edging Darren Durrell of Newburgh after taking the lead on the 12th lap.

Ted Ryder of Carmel worked his way through traffic from the back of the pack to finish third. Fourth went to Milford’s Garrett Hayman, who started on the pole, and Andrew Crosby of Hermon placed fifth.
