OXFORD, Miss. — The niece and last surviving member of Nobel-prize-winning author William Faulkner’s immediate family has died in Mississippi.

In March, she published her autobiography, “Every Day by the Sun: A Memoir of the Faulkners of Mississippi,” her recollections of growing up in Oxford.
