Bangor Public Library readies for reading program

BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Public Library Summer Reading Program events Monday through Friday, Aug. 1-5, in the story room at the library. “Crafty Critters” at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 1; “My Life With Ballet” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2; “Mother Goose Storytime” at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3.; “Trip To China and Southeast Asia” at10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4.; “One World, Many Balloons” at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5. RSU 67 to hold registration

LINCOLN, Maine — RSU 67, Lincoln, Chester and Mattawamkkeag areas are registering children, 4 years of age on or before Oct. 15, for classes this fall. Contact the Ella P. Burr school office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to pick up registration papers, at 794-3014. A copy of the child’s birth certificate and immunization records will be needed at the time of registration.
