Maine gasoline prices continue upward trend, average $3.80 per gallon

PORTLAND, Maine — Maine gasoline prices continue their midsummer upward trend.

The price-watching website MaineGasPrices.com said the average retail gasoline price in Maine has risen 1.5 cents per gallon in the past week to an average of $3.80 per gallon on Sunday.

With that change, prices are $1.06 per gallon higher than they were on the same day one year ago and 15.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The website said the national average has increased 2 cents in the last week to $3.69 per gallon.
