BRISTOL, Conn. — Karli Theberge tossed a five-inning no-hitter in carrying Hermon to a 10-0 victory over Lynn, Mass., in a round-robin game in the 11-12 Little League Softball World Series Eastern Region Tournament Sunday night.
Theberge walked only two and struck out five in the mercy-rule shortened game.
Alexis MacManus hit a two-run single in the first inning to get 2-0 Hermon started.
Hermon added single runs in the second and third innings on errors before Hailey Perry hit a three-run single in the fourth. She later scored on an error, giving Hermon an 8-0 lead.
Allessa Oakes scored on an error in the fifth and Perry drove home Sydney Addessi giving Hermon the early win via the 10-run rule.
Oakes had four singles and scored three runs. Perry and MacManus each had two singles and three RBIs. Addessi and Theberge both had a single and two runs scored. Meagan Berry also scored.

At Glenburn, righthander Emily Mousseau pitched a no-hitter as undefeated Lewiston beat Hermon to claim the 9-10 Softball State Championship Saturday.
Lewiston (7-0) advances to the Eastern Regional Invitational Tournament in Fleetville, Penn., on July 29.
Mousseau allowed one run on six walks while striking out four for Lewiston.
Megan Theriault hit a two-run triple, and her RBI single in the fifth created the 10-run rule early ending. Lexi Poulin tripled and Eliza Beaudin hit a run-scoring single.
Alex Allain scored 3-4 Hermon’s lone run in the first.
