KATHLEEN V. ‘TOTO’ SHORETTE

MILLINOCKET – Kathleen Virginia Shorette, 95, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 17, 2011, with her loving family by her side at a Millinocket hospital. She was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Rockwood, daughter of Leona Moreau.

She lived in Old Town until she married O’Neil Shorette, then "ToTo" resided in Millinocket where she was a housewife. She had many family and friends that she loved to gather with at her home, as well as the many camping trips, cruises, reunions and vacations with her rides to the mountain. Every time family visited when they left she would stand outside and wave until they left her sight. She was extremely loved by all that knew her. Throughout her life she always had a very tender heart for animals.

"ToTo" was predeceased by her husband, O’Neil; and three grandchildren, Jacob Shorette, Joseph Lovell and Cathy Lovell Wysock. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by a daughter, Judy Lovell of Augusta; three sons, Kent and wife, Roseanne, of Medway, Mass., John of Millbury, Mass., and Joseph and wife, Doloris, of Millinocket; 15 grandchildren, Peter, Nancy, Joyce, Jamie, Steve, Donna, Lisa, Patty, Christine, John Jr., Alan, Julie, Tracy, Michael and Jason; 29 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; four stepgrandkids, Charles, John, Missy and Brock; and five great-stepgrandkids.
