Hermon’s Watson claims Super Streets feature at Spud

CARIBOU — Hermon’s Kris Watson had a productive trip to Caribou’s Spud Speedway on Saturday as he won the 20-lap Super Streets feature and finished third in the Wicked Good Vintage Outlaws race.

In the Super Streets, he crossed the finish line ahead of Jeff Willette. Rounding out the top five were Dillon MacDougal, Mark York and Matt Farnham.

Unity Raceway

At Unity, Burnham’s Brian Whitney led all but one lap en route to capturing the 35-lap Late Model feature.

A late charge by Jeff Burgess of East Madison earned him a second place finish as he moved past Skowhegan’s David Folsom I, who wound up third. Dylan Turner of Freedom finished fourth and Tyler Robbins of Montville was fifth.

At Winterport, Winterport’s Greg Young won both the Pro-Pro and Super Pro Eliminator races on Sunday.

Bob Reynolds was second in the Pro-Pro division while Rockland’s Paul Bickford was second in the Super Pro Eliminator. Dennysville Scott Gove was a semifinalist in the Super Pro Eliminator.

At Bethel, Chris Duplessis and Karl Atkinson drove their Ford Fiesta to victory in the MaxAttack! Series.

Andrew Comrie-Picard and Jeremy Wimpey were second, Dillon Van Way/Jake Blattner were third, Bangor’s Kevin Turner teamed with Old Town’s Robert Sockalexis for fourth and Greg Healey and Cindy Krolikowski wound up fifth.
