DEXTER, Maine — Charges are pending against three individuals in connection with incidents at a residence on Charleston Road in which shots were fired at 2 a.m. Monday and again Wednesday afternoon, according to Dexter police.
Few details were released Wednesday night, but Sgt. Kevin Wintle said the investigation is continuing and the person who fired the weapon will be charged with disorderly conduct. Charges against other people who were in the house also are expected Thursday. No one was injured, he said.
Wintle said the radio report of shots fired Wednesday afternoon was heard by game wardens, state police and deputies from Piscataquis and Somerset Counties who also responded to the call.
