FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Roberta E. Burr, 94, formerly of South Portland and Brooksville, Fla., died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham, Mass. She was born June 12, 1916, in Old Town.

She graduated from Lawrence High School, Fairfield, was a National Honor Society recipient and attended the University of Maine, Orono.

Roberta was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence A. Burr; and a brother, Linwood Rand Jr. She is survived by children and their spouses, Lawrence R. and Frances Burr, Deborah Richardson, Frederick and Sharon Burr, and Michael and Linda Burr; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters and brothers, Cora Paradis, Almira Languette, Rita LeVasseur, Barbara Walker, Llewellyn Rand, Sally Johnston and Retire Rand.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. July 16 at Old Town United Methodist Church, 744 Stillwater Ave., Old Town.
