Quilt Show to be held in Atkinson

ATKINSON, Maine — The 24th annual Quilt Show will be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Atkinson United Methodist Church.

Admission to the event is $2. The cost for lunch will be $4 and will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jim Smythe will provide a scissor- and knife-sharpening program during the show.

Lawn party donations sought in E. Millinocket

EAST MILLINOCKET, Maine — St. Peter’s Lawn Party Committee of East Millinocket is seeking clean, working items for the annual Lawn Party yard sale on Aug. 25, being held at 58 Cedar St.

The committee is seeking for the first time donations of clean, usable clothing. Donated clothing, furniture, toys, knickknacks or other items may be left at the Cedar Street address.

64th annual Riverdivers Supper to be held in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Maine — The First Congregational Church of Lincoln will hold its 64th annual Riverdrivers Supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Ludden’s Field in Lincoln Center. Watch for the sign along U.S. Route 2.

The cost of the rain-or-shine event is $8 for adults, $4 for children under 12.
