LITCHFIELD, Maine — A local man is facing charges he stole transmissions from three cars and hid them in the woods behind his Litchfield home.
Bradley Field, 23, was charged with felony theft, criminal trespass and violating conditions of release.
Police said Field’s neighbor called police after finding the transmissions in the woods.
Maine State Police Trooper Jason Madore told the Kennebec Journal that Field admitted after questioning that he had broken into a building and taken the transmissions and copper piping.
Madore said Field has numerous burglary and theft charges in his background and he’d been out of jail a week when he was arrested again.
