Prices at Maine gas pumps drop

BANGOR, Maine — Average retail gasoline prices in Maine have fallen 6.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.65 per gallon. This compares with the national average that has fallen 6.5 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.58 per gallon, according to the gasoline price website MaineGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Maine during the past week, prices were 88.1 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 17.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 21.0 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 84.0 cents per gallon higher than one year ago.
