SPCA benefit to be held July 2 in Bar Harbor

BAR HARBOR, Maine —The SPCA of Hancock County has scheduled its fifth annual Fur Ball benefit for Saturday, July 2.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at College of the Atlantic. The entrance fee is $100 per person.

The ball includes cocktails, a silent auction, a cocktail buffet, live auction and piano music by Paul Sullivan. Items to be auctioned include trips to Bellemaison, France; Virgin Gorda; the San Juan Islands; and Costa Rica. A bronze sculpture by artist Cynthia Stroud, flight lessons, a month’s worth of horse boarding and riding lessons, and a granite countertop are among the other items to be auctioned.
